Water if Life: Keeping Hamilton Alive for 150 Years
Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology - 900 Woodward Ave, Hamilton
We are celebrating 150 years of clean Municipal drinking water in Hamilton. The story of our City's vital water systems has many underlying narratives. This exhibition takes you on a journey through the establishment of a municipal waterworks, the financial struggle individual families faced to secure access to clean water; the emergence of new technologies based on reliable water and our community's improvements in public health; as told through photographs, artefacts and personal accounts.
